Dr.
Seuss has written many children’s books which have been overwhelmingly
successful best-sellers. The Cat in the Hat has done so well that the image of
The Cat in the Hat has become a logo for Random House’s beginner books and the
production logo for all of Seuss’s animated shorts and Dr. Seuss’s most popular
character worldwide.
After
two children hear a big thump while being alone at home, The Cat in the Hat
appears and lures them in to come and have fun with him. He ends up
entertaining them but while doing so he breaks things and messes up the entire
house. But in the end he makes it up to the children and fixes everything
before their mother gets home. I will never forget reading this book growing
up, it played such a memorable role in my childhood and I have many fond
memories of that time.
