Tips on how to deal with stress:

- Watch something on TV - By just anticipating watching your favourite film or programme, it lowers feelings of depression and watching it actually gets rid of the stress completely.
- Picture happy things in your mind - When thinking about happy things or things that you enjoy, your brain will soon relax and you won't feel as tense any more.
- Take charge - The number one stress factor is feeling out of control. So make a list of what stresses you out the most in your daily life so that you can tackle them and find solutions.
- Be grateful - People who show appreciation in their life are happier than their less-grateful counterparts. So take a few minutes of your day to reflect on five things you truly appreciate.
